Exciting news! Apex is expanding our middle school mentoring program to a new Brooklyn site and we need your help. The majority of the students who attend our partner school in Bensonhurst (Brooklyn) are recent immigrants from China. They would benefit greatly from having a mentor to guide them through this transition. We’re looking for new mentors to help out twice a month on Saturday afternoons, providing guidance and introducing the students to new experiences. We need 7 female mentors and 3 male mentors who speak conversational Mandarin; prior youth or volunteer experience a plus (but not required)! Sign up to volunteer now!
