Join a nationwide community of Asian American youth and mentors committed to growth, connection, and possibility.
Launched in 2022, the National Virtual Mentoring Program (NVMP) was created to reach youth beyond New York City — especially those who may not have access to spaces where they feel seen, heard, or supported.
Entering high school, youth begin building the skills and supports to pursue futures that reflect their own values, interests, and priorities. NVMP offers consistent, caring mentorship and a community where youth can explore who they are, develop real-world skills, and gain confidence in their ability to navigate what’s ahead.

Eligible mentees are invited to an all-expenses-paid trip to New York City to meet their mentors and peers in person. Build memories and deepen relationships.
Get personalized guidance from your mentor and Apex staff throughout your college application journey. Plus, receive up to $40,000 in scholarships and access to paid summer internships.
Get the mental health support you need through individual and group counseling, helping you manage stress, anxiety, family challenges, and more.
